Gand Band

"You don't have to be a Baby Boomer to thoroughly enjoy the Gand Band but if you are a boomer you will find yourself singing along and grinning like a fool. The Gand Band is the real deal! The talented group of musicians played non-stop with only one 15 minute break from 9:00 p.m. - midnight(ish) bringing the entire floor in front of the stage to their feet to dance. Okay, we left @ midnight so I can 't say exactly how long the band played but it was an extraordinary music-filled evening & a rare experience in 2014. "

"The Gand Band....totally fun, brought us back to those 1960's with some jazz, rock, and rebellion. "

"We went for dinner – but got so much more. The show was an extra bonus. It was surprisingly good, much better than I expected. The band was excellent and played a mix of soul and older pop tunes. The crowd loved them and had a blast. We met people around us, it turned out to be a true evening out."

"The SHOW!! The Gand Band, Chicago's Rhythm & Blues scene stalwarts add a sultry sax, a steamy soul singer and a special guests each weekend to make the room heat up with great grooves. The weekend I was there is was Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Artist, Liz Mandeville strutting her stuff – the house rocked! "

If you're lucky enough to get a table near the stage, you'll be set for a great show as well. Tonight we were treated to the Gand Band. They were top notch. We'll come back! "

"We had an amazing time. So much fun. The food was great, the music was tons of fun. Make sure you go on a night with music - we saw the Gand Band. Lots of fun - can't wait to go back!"

"My friends and I had the most amazing time at their James Bond "Shaken Not Stirred" night with the Gand Band! The music and entertainment were FANTASTIC!"

"We took an Architectural tour while we were visiting a friend in Palm Springs. Our tour guide Robert was non stop information including some of the must visit restaurants. We very much enjoyed a night out and 60's tunes from The Gand Band. "

We saw Shirley King, B.B. King's daughter (as guest artist with the Gand Band). She had the whole place on their feet, dancing."

"I made a surprise birthday party for my husband's 70th the night the Gand Band was performing. It was fantastic and all my guests are still talking about it a year later."

LA Eater 12/14:

"The guys behind the Uptown Design District's ever-popular orange-splashed eatery, Trio, took over this formerly fraying lounge off the lobby of a timeshare hotel last year and transformed it into a retro-feeling supper club. The cocktails get fun Rat Pack-themed names like the Dean Martini and Chairman of the Board. Still, the draw here is top-notch entertainment including husband-and-wife duo the Gand Band every Friday and Saturday night."
